Weeks of sunshine prior to last Saturday’s wedding. Sunshine in the forecast for days after their wedding. Their wedding day forecast? Rain. However, the forecast and the rain the day did little to dampen the spirits of Bridgit and Nate. And as someone told myself and my wife on our drizzly wedding day, a bit of rain brings good luck (always a silver lining).
Bridgit and Nate’s ceremony was held at the adorable Second Baptist Church on Cherry Street directly across from Knox College while the reception that followed was held at the beautiful Kensington Ballroom.
